I am a graduate of Harvard University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemical and Physical Biology with a minor in Global Health and Health Policy. Now, I am a medical student at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and I'm pursuing a career in surgery. The biochemical and mathematical sciences have always been a special interest of mine, since elementary school when I first became fascinated with anatomy books, to tutoring my classmates in high school physics. Having also undergone the premedical path, I am committed to offering advice and encouragement to people at any point on the path towards medicine. Finally, through my experiences applying to a number of schools, scholarships and programs, I have learned how to tell a story. That is why I enjoy helping other students engage with creativity and ideas through writing and reading critically. I tutor because I believe that even a little academic support can go a long way. If I can use what I have learned to help one student ace their quiz or get into the program of their dreams, then my efforts have made a real difference. When I'm not studying, I enjoy spending time with family, trying new recipes, singing and keeping up with the latest movies.
