I am a junior at the University of Kentucky and expect to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in May 2020. My long-term goal is to pursue a PhD and work in research. I currently work in a lab on campus researching how protamine proteins effect DNA packaging and stability. As a student I'm passionate about my studies, and I'm constantly seeking to learn more about chemistry and how it has shaped our world. I'm always fascinated my chemistry because it explains fundamental properties of substances and how those properties dictate its behavior. However, I understand how daunting chemistry can be and my goal as a tutor is to make the course material interesting and approachable. Whether or not chemistry is your jam, I'm committed to work with all students to help build a strong foundation of knowledge and understanding so each student can excel in their course. When not in class or lab you can find me walking through campus listening to my music or doing PiYo at the gym. I also spend my free time reading, running, or hanging out with my friends on my PlayStation.
