I have a BA in French and Italian from Bowling Green State University and a Master's degree in Teaching from Florida Atlantic University. I spent an academic year abroad in Tours, France, where I lived with a host family and attended university. I have been teaching since 1989 and started in 1st Grade, teaching ESOL. I then taught high school French, levels 1-AP for 10 years in Florida. Most recently, I taught French to children and adults, in all levels of ability, at the Alliance Franaise School in Albuquerque, NM for 10 years. I love teaching French because I feel that learning another language brings people closer together and it also helps us better understand our own language. Outside of teaching, I love traveling, hiking, reading and playing with our adopted rescue greyhounds.
