I have a B.A. from Western Washington University and an M.Ed from University of Washington. I've taught in the public schools for many years, as well as trained adults for military child and youth programs and managed child care centers and camps. I also was the director of a Sylvan Learning Center. Having a solid education has opened so many doors for me, and I'm passionate about helping people get past the obstacles that are standing between them and the life and career they want and deserve. I really enjoy working with both children and adults, and I love the variety of being able to tutor many different types of subjects. Other than teaching, my biggest passion is theater. I'm extremely involved in my area's theater community as an actor, singer, playwright, director, and patron. I'm a little too clumsy for sports, but give me a pair of tap shoes, a sparkly hat, and a jazzy number to sing and I'm happy as a clam! I'm excited to share my diversity of skills, my wacky sense of humor, and my boundless sense of encouragement and enthusiasm on this platform!
