I am a junior at Duke University studying Chemistry with a minor in Biology, but I have a passion for all sciences! After graduation, I hope to pursue either medicine or clinical pharmacy and potentially a dual PhD degree to also conduct clinical research.
I have experience tutoring middle school students in STEM topics, as well as my college peers. In high school, I worked closely with friends to help successfully improve their ACT scores. I believe in tailoring my methods to the needs of each individual student and always attempting to provide multiple angles to approach the material. Learning is such a dynamic, variable process, and my goal is to help students find the clearest, most comprehensive methods that work best for them! I am a strong proponent of positive encouragement because much of conquering material and improving scores is rooted in a student's confidence.
Outside of the classroom, I love hiking, camping, drawing, and playing basketball.
