I have a PhD in Material Engineering and Polymer Science from University of California, Davis. I also received my Bachelor and Masters in Engineering and Chemistry.
Also, I have done 3.5 years of postdoc fellowship in Biomedical Engineering at Harvard University which has exposed me extensively to different areas in research and teaching on biomaterial, tissue engineering and medical devices.
I have worked as absenior engineer in chemical industry for 5 years too. In that role, I have developed new high-performance polymeric materials for aerospace and oil & gas applications.
Right now, I enjoy teaching some undergraduate and graduate courses at university. Also, as a senior research adviser, I am working with companies to develop new materials and textiles towards making lives healthier.
I have been tutoring since I was a high school studen, and have taught many subjects to high-school and college students.
I am most passionate about research, health, technology, science and environmental and providing opportunities to younger generations.
My teaching philosophy is to encourage students to think creatively and understand the material in a way that is applicable to their daily life.
I firmly believe in a flexible manner of instruction, being responsive to the unique maturity of the student, and creating a pleasant experience for both sides in the learning path. let's make changes.
