I have PhD in Material Engineering and Polymer Science from University of California at Davis. I also received my Bachelor and Master in Engineering and Chemistry.
Also, I have done 3.5 years of postdoc fellowship in Biomedical Engineering at Harvard University which has exposed me extensively to all sorts of research and teaching on biomaterial, tissue engineering and medical devices.
I have worked as senior engineer in chemical industry for 5 years too, in that role I have developed new high-performance polymeric materials for aerospace and oil & gas applications.
Right now, I am enjoying teaching some undergraduate and graduate courses at university. Also, I am senior research adviser and working with companies for developing new materials and textiles for better and healthier life.
I have been tutoring since I was at high school and taught many subjects for high-school and college students.
I am most passionate about research, health, technology, science and environmental.
My teaching philosophy is to encourage students to think creatively and understand the material in a way that is always interesting and applicable to their daily life.
I firmly believe in a flexible manner of instruction, responsive to the unique maturity of the student.
