Hey! My name is Rushil. I just finished my first year at the Ohio State University as a double major in economics and honors mathematics. My resume is strongly tailored towards tutoring: teaching has comprised almost every job I've ever had! In high school, I worked at Kumon, where I taught kids ranging between Kindergarten and ninth grade. Now, in college, I work for OSU's Math-Stats Learning Center, where students seek help with college-level math and statistics. I've also tutored independently in high school, both officially and ad hoc for individual teachers. Outside of the sphere of teaching, I love solving puzzles (though I love working on them more), playing tennis, and going on bike rides. I was involved in many extracurricular activities in high school, and continue to be in college, including Academic Challenge, Model UN, and Math Competitions, but the one that consumed my life the most was Speech and Debate (anyone who has done Speech and Debate understands how all-consuming it can become). I hope some of the skills I've gained in working on these activities will carry over in our professional relationship as tutor and tutee.
