I graduated George Washington High School (International Baccalaureate program) in 2015 and moved to Linfield College in Oregon, where I am working towards a BA in Philosophy and Spanish. I have done volunteer tutoring of high school and middle school students previously, and in the summer of 2016 I worked as a teaching fellow in a middle school summer program. The subjects I tutor include philosophy, math, reading, writing help and Spanish for middle school and high school levels. I really love tutoring Spanish, as I have lived in Spain for an academic year and like helping students progress in the language. When I tutor I try to find a good proportion of work that challenges the student and work that boosts the student's confidence. The student would always take the lead on the work being done during the session, so that the student develops both the confidence and the skills to do the work independently. I am an avid reader and movie watcher, as well as a dog lover!
