I am a native of central New York in the United States.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from the Setnor School of Music at Syracuse University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French and Francophone Studies. As a classically trained vocalist, I am familiar with music history and theory, and have utilized this background, in conjunction with more recently acquired skills in education and conducting, to teach contemporary music in a variety of settings (a cappella music, musical theatre, pit conducting).
I have likewise utilized these skills in conjunction with my language-speaking skills to teach English as a second language, work with international students as a conversation partner, and to translate conversational French.
I have recently begun to promote myself via Instagram and social media as a food blogger/photographer, creating and photographing my own meals, and promoting myself to my target audiences: English and French-speaking vegetarian food fanatics.
My background in both music education and both ESL and French studies make me uniquely equipped to work with students in a variety of areas.
