I truly believe that any person can learn whatever they like, whether it be a new skill or a new subject, if they are given the proper tools for learning. These tools include a teacher who is willing to take the time to address individual needs and styles of learning, in order to ensure a student's success. I love teaching because I genuinely enjoy explaining the subjects that I am knowledgeable in, and hopefully can convey that same interest in a given subject to the student. In doing this, a student who was previously not confident in their abilities will be able to gain the confidence and knowledge necessary to succeed, not just in a given subject, but in all areas of their life.

For the past year, I was teaching English to young children in Thailand, which was an amazing and educational experience. I decided upon Thailand because I love to travel and experience new cultures, try new foods, hike, and go to the beach. I also enjoy listening to live music, working out, dance, and going to art galleries and museums.

In college I was a Teaching Assistant for Psychology and Theater, as well as a private tutor, and a tutor for small and large groups. It was then that I realized my love for tutoring, especially one-on-one, where I could really make a connection with the student, to focus specifically on their individual needs to help them improve.

I look forward to tutoring each and every person that I am able to, to help them realize their full potential and ensure future success.
