Greetings from Philadelphia! I am a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a Master of Arts in English.
I currently teach English Rhetoric and Composition at Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and I taught the same at Union County College in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 2017.
Aside from my editorial writings, which include everything from book reviews to encyclopedia entries, I have written book length works of both fiction and nonfiction, including a book on the Philadelphia Big Five, which is slated for publication in November of 2018 by Arcadia Publishing, as well as two children's books, both through Michelkin Publishing.
I have also worked for the last two years at the Kislak Center for Rare Books and Manuscripts at the University of Pennsylvania. My graduate focus was material texts, rare books, and biobibliography. My duties included many aspects of standard library work.
As a published, professional writer with work in many disciplines and genres, I feel that my experience will allow me to serve as your child's tutor.
I look forward to your response, and to interviewing with you at your earliest convenience. I have open availability for 2018, and can both commute and work remotely, as per your needs.
Thank you!
