I cover a wide range of subjects such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, and Finance. In particular, my expertise in Mathematics is through an applied lens. I can cover all Math at the K-12 level. In addition I am also very well versed with Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Numerical Methods. My knowledge of Statistics is primarily applied. I also have a strong grasp of probability as well. In regards to Computer Science, I very familiar with Python from a Data Science lens. I can also help tutor C++ and Java. I am also able to help you with topics in Discrete Mathematics. In regards to Economics I can cover topics both in Macro and Micro. In regards to Finance, I can help you with a wide range of topics from the basics to upper level course work. I draw on both knowledge from my work as a Quantitative Analyst, and the many courses I have taken.
There are two main types of tutoring I do. Homework help, and subject teaching. For the first, I will help you go over your homework with detailed explanations. I can also help you with big projects by giving you detailed step by step instructions with explanations on how to solve the problem at hand. With the second kind, I will formulate a lesson plan to help you understand the topic you are having difficulty with. For example: If you told me you were struggling with integrals, I would create a list of practice problems, and then help you to solve them with detailed explanations.
I love learning, and I hope though my tutoring you will come to love learning as well! I look forward to hearing back from you and about success in your studies. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time with inquires.

I am open to tutoring all ages, however my methods have found the most success with older children and adults.
I ask that you provide me with at least 36 hours' notice if you wish to cancel or move an appointment.
As a matter of policy, for in person tutoring, I only meet students at public locations such as a library for the first lesson. Public libraries are excellent places to do tutoring sessions. They usually have group study rooms, and other nice areas where people can focus.
