I love teaching anything with a number: Algebra, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, you name it. Let's face it, numbers are all around us, yet many of us find this very intimidating. I truly look forward to working with anyone I'm assigned to.

I grew up in Lakewood, Colorado, and after graduating high school I attended Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, and then joined the Navy as a Supply Corps Officer. I served on 4 ships and 2 shore stations, got to see the Mediterranean Sea and Persian Gulf, and served a little over 11 years. I then made my way to Colorado, and ended up living less than a mile from where I grew up.

I currently work for the U.S. Geological Survey as a Business Analyst, which means I get to play with numbers all day. Along the way I earned a Master's of Management degree from Troy State University and a Master's of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. I have also been teaching for the University of Phoenix for the past 15 years.

When not working, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I have 2 wonderful dogs, and have always been very happy to be surrounded by pets.
