Although I'm no longer working within my colleges, I still wish to work and help my peers. I graduated with a BS in Biochemistry (Math Minor) from SUNY Cortland, and a MS in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins.
During my time at Cortland, I tutored for 2.5 years in subjects such as calculus, chemistry, and physics. I also did upper level courses such as biochemistry. I've also supervised online biology and chemistry tutors at the school, making sure they followed proper tutoring techniques and had overall good sessions. At Hopkins, I was a study consultant for undergraduates. I helped students plan their schedules, manage their time, and prepare for upcoming exams.
I feel my favorite and strongest subjects are math and chemistry. This closely relates to my 5 years of college, and I really enjoy learning and teaching them. I feel my style of tutoring identifies how an individual best learns, then using that to form good study habits. In my free time, I like to weightlift, play golf, and go to concerts.
