I am a sophomore at Vanderbilt University, working towards a major in Molecular and Cellular Biology, and minors in Spanish and Psychology. I believe that the most important role of a tutor is to recognize each student's unique learning style and explain concepts to students in the way they understand best. My goal is to assist students in reaching their goals and developing strong study habits to help them retain the information necessary. Through my three years of experience teaching Sunday School to 6th graders I have developed creative teaching skills, and feel confident that I can convey information to students in a clear and concise way. While I tutor a wide range of subjects, my favorites are essay writing and ACT prep, as my favorite subject is english. Outside of tutoring I am involved in biology research, intramural volleyball, and the American Red Cross chapter at Vanderbilt.
