I am a senior at Baldwin Wallace University working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in music, and I aspire to get my PhD in virology after I graduate. I love both learning and teaching, from a casual conversation to a more formal classroom. While I am not training to be a teacher, I have always done something to help others learn. In high school I worked with other students to bring music education to our elementary schools, and I taught informal lessons during lunch and study hours. In college I continue to teach younger children math and reading, and I assist my peers in their academic studies as well. My favorite subject is biology for obvious reasons, but as a student at a liberal arts university I firmly believe that a well rounded education is essential for students' success in their future careers and life. Outside of school, I horseback ride, knit, and keep plants and fish.
