I am a freshman at Mercer University studying biomedical engineering. I graduated from the Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology in 2017 where I took ten Advance Placement classes (including Environmental Science, Human Geography, Biology, World History, Chemistry, United States History, Language Arts, Physics I, Calculus, and Literature) while taking accelerated classes and electives, such as organic chemistry, microbiology, and history of math.
I have tutored children of elementary age before but I also understand the minds of those in high school level courses. I too, at one point in high school, needed tutoring for various subjects including the SAT. Being in that place has prepared me to tutor students who are in the spot I was once in.
I enjoy teaching others about Chemistry, Math subjects, and Physics the most. My mind is more mathematical, but I have interests in reading, writing, and painting, as well. I enjoy discussing historical accounts. A fascination of mine is playing the flute. I was in the top ensemble at my high school and was first chair there for my senior year. I was also a drum major for the marching band at my high school and was able to place first in competition at the Peach State Marching Festival. I am currently in the Mercer University Wind Ensemble as 9th chair and continue to take lessons to better myself. Additionally, I am a member of the Mercer University Flute Choir where we play various types of flutes.
