I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and I plan on returning to school for a master's degree in Education. My plan is to start off as an elementary school teacher and work my way up until I eventually become a college professor.
I currently work in a group home with youth age 12-19. I enjoy helping the youth further themselves in their education and take pride in sharing my knowledge with others. I tutor the youth in English and Math and help them with their homework when necessary. While in college, I tutored other college students who were struggling academically with their coursework and mentored them in the school library. I also babysat a young boy with autism and helped him with his schoolwork as well.
I tutor various math, English, and writing subjects, as well as psychology and social sciences subjects. While my major in college was Psychology, my minor was English and I’ve taken many writing intensive courses. In high school, I was in advanced placement math classes and excelled in English as well. My favorite subjects to tutor are English, Math and Psychology, as these are subjects I mostly excel in and are enjoyable to me.
Tutoring is an enjoyable experience for me and always has been, as I enjoy helping others and showing new ways to accomplish academic goals that make it enjoyable.
