I am a medical student who has extensive tutoring experience in a wide array of subjects ranging from algebra to molecular genetics. I double majored in math and biology in undergrad and went on to get a Master's in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In brief, my strong educational background and work experience allow me to teach concepts from a practical approach.
On a more personal level, I initially found math and science subjects to be difficult. However, I was fortunate to have had teachers who, through encouragement and persistence, explained difficult topics in a manner that I could relate to by articulating in simple and translatable terms. As a tutor, I aim to bring a similar attitude and approach to all of my sessions by deconstructing topics into digestible pieces. I plan to effectively communicate even the most difficult concepts.
