I am a lifelong student of creating optimal wellness and personal achievement. One of my core beliefs is that everybody has the potential to create greatness. It is my goal to help people reach their grand potential by helping them break down personal barriers to reaching goals and achievements.
Right now I am a student at Brigham Young University studying Exercise and Wellness with a minor in Management. My goal is to go to chiropractic school so I can become a chiropractor and open my own practice to help others reach their optimal health and potential.
One of my favorite things to do is improve my skills in self defense and martial arts. I love learning and comparing different styles and techniques and combining them to discover what works for me. This mentality affects the way I approach helping others learn. What works for me may not work for them, so I try to present different approaches and techniques that they can play with to figure out what works best for them.
Some of my past experience includes teaching youth and families life principles, educating and entertaining children, and coaching individuals in physical activities. I taught lifestyle principles to families and individuals as a missionary for my church (Feb 2016 - Aug 2017). This included helping people incorporate new habits to their lifestyles, helping individuals overcome addictions, and helping people change their perceptions of themselves, God, and the world.
As a nature day camp counselor, I worked with groups of about 15 children two summers in a row for the Santa Clara Audubon Society (Summer 2014 and Summer 2015). My roles included managing the children, helping them engage and connect with educational activities, and helping them enjoy their time at camp.
