I graduated from UCLA in 2016 with my Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. I am currently taking two gap years before I attend graduate school to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. During this time, I have worked as a physical therapy aide in a medical clinic, teaching patients all across the lifespan how to perform functional movement with optimal form to reach their health goals. This experience has cultivated me into a patient, empathetic, and encouraging provider of care; all skills I strive to impart as a tutor and future healthcare practitioner. Early in 2017, I took the GRE for entry into graduate school, an arguably more demanding yet structurally similar test to the SAT, which oddly enough, reminded me of how much I enjoy doing standardized tests. As a college grad and successful standardized test taker, I believe I carry broadened perspective and plenty of tips that I would have loved to know as a high school (and even) college student. My purpose and goal as a tutor is to empower my clients with the tools and know-how to tackle standardized tests with confidence. Here are a couple of words and phrases that I feel capture my approach to tutoring: big picture learning, conversational, study smart over hard, easy-going, professional, innovative, and continually supportive. I look forward to investing time in your journey to higher education.
