I graduated in May, 2016, with a finance degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. That being said passions lie in writing and language.
Throughout college I taught English for a program called Conex???o Mundo in Brazil. I obtained a one-year degree from Funda??????o Get???lio Vargas, where I took all my classes in Portuguese, and gained fluency.
After graduating I accepted a job as a journalist for an NGO called Alian???a da Terra, where I made a mini-documentary about the firefighters helping to save burning indigenous lands. I also lived with an indigenous tribe called the Kamayura, where I lived totally nude, fished and hunted to eat, and began writing my first novel, to be published in 2018.
Next, I moved to S???o Paulo, where I worked on my book and to make ends meet, edited college essays for Brazilian students hoping to go to college in the US. My students were accepted to Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Georgia Tech, and Columbia, just to name a few.
Currently, I work as the writer for a creative collective called Hot Mess, consisting of actor/model Luka Sabbat, and photographer Noah Dillon. We have created an exhibition consisting of photo stories, where I wrote short stories and poetry to provide a cohesive narrative to coincide with Noah's photos. Our first two exhibits were at Milk Studios in New York and Los Angeles, and we are headed to Tokyo in January for the next show.
Writing and reading are my passions, and when it comes to language, I have no doubt I can help with any need you may have, whether it be eliminating passive voice, or finding a voice of your own.
