I am a graduate of The Ohio State University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences. Currently, I am attending the University of Washington, where I am a doctoral candidate in the Audiology program. Throughout my academic career, I have spent time working with children through various after-school and daycare facilities. While I am comfortable with many subjects, I am most passionate about English, reading, and writing. I am excited to work on improving these critical skills with students. I find it extremely rewarding to see a student start to love the very topic with which they struggled not long ago! I'm a firm believer in the importance of language and arts education, and I believe that creating a strong foundation in reading in writing is essential for effective communication. Sharing that passion with my students is something I aim to do in each session. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy reading, creating music, travel, and Zumba.
