Christina is motivated, enthusiastic and innovative. She has a strong global education background, beginning with early experiences tutoring at-risk youth in Washington D.C. and teaching English in Tokyo, Japan. She lived in Tokyo, Japan for one year with a homestay family and not only became proficient in Japanese but also added to her cultural competency with her additional travels in South East Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. In addition to her cross-cultural experiences, she has a strong media, communications and research background, which she first honed at the non-profit Womens Actions for New Directions by building its social media presence. As a Princeton in Asia Media Fellow at World Education Nepal, she used her media skills to capture human trafficking and earthquake stories through case studies and video. In everything she does, she exhibits strong analytical writing and critical thinking skills and, most importantly, an insatiable curiosity. Given all this, as well as her passion for education, she would be a great fit as a tutor.
