I have been interested in education since high school, and in college, I decided I wanted to be a teacher. To prepare, I began tutoring in college and working at summer day camps. Upon my graduation, I began teaching and have been doing so for over 20 years. I love watching students grasp a concept and seeing the excitement and confidence when they do they "get it". I often use games and other forms of engagement to keep my students motivated. Outside of the classroom, I have tutored elementary, middle, and high school students. I have worked with gifted students and those with learning disabilities. I am a firm believer that all children can learn and excel.
