I recently received my Masters in Public Health from Columbia University and have been living in Chicago for about a year. Before that I was at Rice University where I received a BS in Bioengineering.
I've always loved mentoring students, from starting as a Biology tutor in high school to becoming a teaching assistant for a graduate-level Statistics courses. I find that communicating the subject matter to others helps both of us understand the material more fully.
In my free time, I enjoy reading science fiction and trying out new recipes.
