I am a graduate from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and hold my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, with minors in French Studies and Pharmacology. I am hoping to return to graduate school to pursue my Medical Doctor degree, and potentially a Masters in Pharmacology. I have previously tutored at the Tibetan American Foundation of Minnesota with junior high and high school students, but have always enjoyed helping my friends and classmates learn subjects in science, french, and english writing skills. I tutor chemistry (my current profession), biology, english writing, genetics and cell biology, and microbiology. My favorite subject is genetics because it is the foundation of one's understanding of the human body and cell biology. I believe the best way for students to learn is to get a basic understanding of their course, and solve problems. Mistakes help me learn and they certainly will help you work through the coursework, particularly in language and science. I believe every student has the knowledge to learn on their own, but a tutor certainly helps guide students through their own problem solving technique. When I am not working, I love to cycle, run long distances on trails, ride horses, play the violin and piano (rather poorly on piano), and read fiction. I am also studying Italian and Swedish for fun, so I am also a student!
