I am a graduate student in biomedical engineering at Ohio State University and have been tutoring for the past 5 years. I am passionate about undergraduate education and I intend to become a professor. My undergraduate degree is in physics and math from Wittenberg University and while studying there I also worked as a head tutor at the math workshop, where I primarily tutored algebra, calculus, and physics. I have experience as a teaching assistant for introductory physics classes at Wittenberg and biomechanics at Ohio State. My favorite subjects to tutor are calculus one and physics one, because I really enjoy when I am able to help people who think they are particularly bad at those subjects to understand (and pass!) them. My teaching philosophy revolves around my belief that no one is bad at math! It's a subject that takes practice, but can be learned. My interests outside of school include running marathons, playing volley ball, and hanging out with friends.
