I'm a whole-hearted believer in tutoring because of how much it has impacted both my academic and professional careers. As a a middle school and high school student, I struggled with math until I was fortunate to have an amazing Trigonometry teacher who told me "People aren't born good at math, they GET good at math." It became my source of hope, and after graduating with an A in that class, her statement became my mantra for other students who I later tutored in college.
Serving as an English and Statistics tutor for university athletes inspired me to eventually become a full-time teacher, as well as an SAT instructor and tutor for at-risk students. Continuing as a source of hope for those who struggle with subject comprehension is one of my life's passions. It is my desire that students who hear my story of challenge and triumph will also develop the confidence necessary to overcome their own struggles and achieve their learning goals.
In addition to being an academic educator, Im also an avid musician, producer, singer, and career consultant who enjoys traveling and coaching other aspiring artists to fulfill their music and career dreams.
