I am enthusiastic to work with you in your effort to improve your academic skills and reach new heights. I am here to guide, listen, encourage, and challenge! I am looking forward to working together to find new ways to understand concepts and apply what we learn!
I am a teacher from NJ, now pursuing a masters at University of Southern California for TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages). I have a background in teaching Science and English in Newark, NYC, and Barcelona.
While I have spent a lot of time with whole groups, I find my passion is in working with students one-on-one and in smaller groups. Whether volunteering with West Philly middle schoolers in college or working with families in Barcelona on weeknights, I love connecting with individuals and having fun while making strides in learning.
On a personal front, I love to explore whatever city I am in, whether traveling or living there. Foodie is my middle name and along with discovering restaurants and food trucks and ice cream spots, I like to work off those calories with hiking, running outside, and gym sessions as well! Los Angeles is going to be my new home and I can't wait to discover what it has to offer. Besides my love for food and activity, I love to cook, blog, and paint.
