I am a creative writer, professional organizer, and Orton-Gillingham tutor from Brooklyn, NY (currently living and working in Madison, WI). My strengths include academic writing (undergrad and graduate-level coursework), English/Humanities education for K-12, and Orton-Gillingham literacy education for folks of all ages with dyslexia. I'm currently employed as a tutor for the Wisconsin Institute for Learning Disabilities and Dyslexia.

I am an empathetic, understanding, and passionate teacher. I excel at working with clients with mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, attention and behavioral disorders, and non-English backgrounds. I have an intense love for reading and writing; a passion I try to share with all of my students.

While I'm well-versed in classic and modern literature, my favorite genres are science fiction and fantasy--I'm a sucker for anything written by George R.R. Martin or Isaac Asimov, in particular. In my spare time, I like to quilt, paint, bake, embroider, and listen to music--especially rap and hip hop.

Don't hesitate to reach out for more information, or just to say hello!
