As an educator for over ten years, and a soon-to-be-mom, I have a passion not only for students, but for helping them succeed and to find their true full potential.
I believe that every student can achieve, not only in school, but beyond, with the right support, and am confident that I have the tools it takes to help students reach towards that potential.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, I went through the public school system and then on to college in upstate New York. From there I went on to get several masters degrees in New York City, where I taught in the South Central Bronx as well as in Manhattan. I now teach in Amherst, New York as a Literacy Coach.
Outside of work, I like to spend time outdoors, and with family. Most of my free time is spent in the garden, on hikes, going for walks, exploring the neighborhood, or having meals with family or friends. I also like to paint and sculpt.
I look forward to meeting you and am confident that our partnership can help your child succeed.
