I have recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) with a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics. Before I attended graduate school, I have taught mathematics in elementary school full-time for four years. At University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I assisted undergraduate students in solving various math problems at UNC Math Help Center. Additionally, I graded homework, quizzes, and exams of UNC students for one year.
I love mathematics and helping students understand and appreciate math. My undergraduate psychology degree from the University of Southern California has made me more sensitive in dealing with students from diverse backgrounds. I understand many different learning styles, and will work with what works for them.
I teach high school and undergraduate college math: Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Differential Equation. My specialty is in Calculus, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
I'm generally available 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and weekends, and I can travel to students. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you succeed in math!
