I first became interested in tutoring after enrolling in an ESL Certification Program (accredited) through a non-profit organization in 2014. Having worked with several students from other countries (originally), I began instructing new students with advanced educational goals. I later earned certification in US Citizenship in 2015.
My working experience includes: Teaching ESL for three years, Substitute Teaching (other subjects) for two years, and On-Line Tutoring. I've taught Grades 1-12 (including adult students) from beginner to advanced levels of proficiency, and I have also taught single/multiple-student classes in-person, and 'on-line'.
I am result-oriented in my teaching methods and I have the ability to bring out the best of the individuals I am working with, quickly and effectively. My past students have demonstrated success in learning at accelerated rates and were given the proper tools and confidence they required to achieve their maximum potential, and to continue learning and progressing on an independent level.
I am family-oriented, I enjoy reading and believe that we, as individuals, have an unlimited capacity of learning and need only to believe in ourselves.
