I have a BS and MS in math. My strong math background coupled with my ability to communicate ideas and pass on knowledge led me to a successful career in finance for the past 28 years in structuring and trading mortgage-backed securities. As I am embarking on the next step in my career I remembered how much I enjoyed teaching and tutoring calculus and pre-calculus to college undergrads while attending grad school. I thought this might be a good time to return to that passion. Although I have not formally taught or tutored anyone other than my daughters since grad school, I have had many roles that required me to mentor colleagues in the finance industry. So teaching and communicating knowledge and ideas is at the core of my skill set. I am confident that I would be a great asset for any student.
