I graduated from Texas Christian University in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish; Hispanic Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a Certificate in International Relations. My biggest passion is the Spanish language. While in college, I studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain for 6 months and most recently I returned from teaching English in Santiago, Chile for 6 months. I use Spanish every day at work and am always seeking opportunities to improve. I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience, starting with my very first two jobs as a 15 and 16 year-old. I have been a swim lesson instructor, dance instructor/choreographer, assistant 5th grade teacher, lifeguard instructor and auditor, and an athletic tutor. The combination of ages I have taught through these various positions ranges from 3-60. They have all taught me the value of patience and the value of developing a rapport with students. Each position has shaped me into a more skilled teacher. I hope to instill a love for the Spanish language in my students! In my free time I like to horse-back ride, dance, play basketball, and hike.
