My passion is to help students have “aha” or “eureka” moments and become effective, lifelong learners. I did my undergraduate degree in English Literature at Oral Roberts University, where I was recognized as Outstanding Senior English Literature Student. I also have a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. I spent a year in South Korea teaching English and composition to a wide variety of students, and I enjoy getting to teach fitness principles as a certified personal trainer. English, Literature, Composition, and Public Speaking are my main areas of expertise. My approach to teaching is to take the complex and make it simple, to help students make discoveries and connections. Outside of work, you will find me hiking, listening to music and podcasts, and enjoying great meals with friends.
