I first discovered my love for working with children when working as a leader in training while in Girl Scouts. I am excited to combine this with my drive to help students succeed.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lindenwood University with two bachelors degrees. I am educated up to the second year of calculus and took AP classes in math, science and history. My experience with high-level mathematics is helped by a strong foundation in lower level math, which gives me the confidence to teach to younger and older children. Currently, I tutor a child on the autism spectrum in all subjects, which has helped teach me patience as well as adaptability to teach struggling students. As a tutor, I continually assess a child's needs so that I am teaching to their specific learning style. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy acting, singing, and going to the beach as often as I can.
