I recently graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and I'm currently in the process of applying to medical school. Throughout my undergraduate career, my dreams of becoming a doctor were fortified by my experiences as a teacher and tutor. I have been teaching fellow undergraduate students at my university for the past 3 years, and have had an amazing time doing so. Helping others obtain the knowledge to succeed academically has been a valuable and enjoyable experience on my journey toward becoming a physician. My goal as a tutor is to create a constructive and helpful learning environment for my students so they can conquer their academic fears and achieve their goals. I love to teach, and I think that learning should be a fun and interactive experience. I strive to make teaching a conversation instead of a lecture, and to create an environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions freely and learn at their own pace.
