Hello to all learners! If you're looking for an English or technology tutor, that's me, and I graduated from University of Florida, B.A., English Major and Sociology Minor (2009) to prove it. A video/film guy? Well, that's me too. I graduated with a second bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University, B.S., Technical Communications Major and French Minor (2016). Education is my specialty, and I hope I can share my knowledge with you. My future plan is to finish my graduate degree. In 2013, I'd withdrawn from the University of North Florida, M.A., Rhetoric and Composition (2013) due to an inability to live a comfortable lifestyle and study. So, I went into the world to work and have been for over four years. My tutoring experience includes working as a Writing/Technology adviser at the Writing Center of Metropolitan University in Denver (2015-2016); teaching high school English near Paris in a city called Champagne-sur-Seine at Lycee Lafayette (2016-2017); and many private lessons in psychology, sport surfing, and personal fitness/nutrition. At Varsity Tutors, I tutor English Literature, French, writing (academic/professional/creative), Sociology, Philosophy, Film History and Theory, Technology, and Video Production. In my personal time, I like creative writing and social activities like improv comedy and salsa dancing. You'd like me as a tutor because I can make tutoring lessons fun or serious, incorporate a large variety of learning techniques or adopt your preferred learning style. I look forward to it! -Al
