I am a graduate of Spelman College. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Mathematics. Since graduation, I have completed graduate studies in the biomedical and biological sciences, teaching and assisting with teaching in coursework on children microbiology, neuroscience, and independent research. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about topics in mathematics and the sciences. In my experience helping students grasp difficult, I always rely on identifying the student's learning language and building the necessary confidence to conquer the material. I am a firm advocate for science education and individualized learning methods, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor sports, volunteering, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
