I am a PhD student studying physiology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. After earning a PhD my goal is to stay in academia in a position that emphasizes teaching.
I have a passion for teaching and have extensive tutoring experience with students of all ages. As an undergraduate I volunteered as a teacher at The Hackerman Academy of Mathematics and Science, where I taught classes of fifth and sixth graders scientific and mathematical concepts such as DNA, chemical bonds, and probability. After I graduated I worked for a year at C2 Education, a tutoring company that prides itself on focusing not only on teaching students the subject material but also on instilling useful study skills and habits.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing the oboe, and playing with my two dogs and two cats. I look forward to the opportunity to teach your student!
