Hi! My name is Marcus and I'm a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of California. I received my bachelor's and master's degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I'm extremely passionate about education as I want to be a professor.
Being an engineer, I use algebra, geometry, and all levels calculus on a daily basis for my research. Additionally, all of my research is for organic, biological polymers, giving me hands on experience working with chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, and especially biochemistry.
Outside of my research and teaching, I spend what little time I have hiking, swimming, yoga, and running.
