I bring several years of experience tutoring students primarily in Elementary School through High School. My background in Speech Pathology and Education helps me to identify academic areas that need strengthening so as to ensure future academic growth and success. Prior to tutoring, I was a Reading Specialist along with teaching in 2nd grade and 4th grade classrooms.
I believe in customizing the tutoring experience to suit each student's overall learning style. For example, some children learn well with music, others are more visual or auditory, etc. Whether I am helping a student with special needs or helping you to prepare for your upcoming SAT, I am here to help encourage, boost confidence, and build skills. By targeting skills you are most struggling with and building up from here, I aim to ensure your continued academic success.
