I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Sciences. My love for teaching/tutoring others started in my high school math classes. Math was my best subject and I regularly tutored my fellow classmates, and I enjoyed the challenge of explaining difficult concepts. My tutoring experience really started to develop and grow in college as I began to host tutoring sessions in my math and science courses. As of late, I have worked as a high school math tutor teaching subject such as Geometry, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. I love tutoring math because I enjoy seeing the process of students changing their perspective about math as they begin to truly understand the material. I believe in making real, genuine connections with students in order to encourage academic and personal success. I am currently in the process of obtaining my teaching credential, and hope to teach high school math of all levels. In my moments of spare time, I enjoy training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, hiking, reading, and spending quality time with the people I love.
