I am a talented, caring and self-motivated tutor with more than four years experience working with children aged kindergarten through sixth grade in the development of basic math and reading skills. In high school, I volunteered with a program to help elementary, middle, and high school students. After graduating, I began officially working with an Orlando after-school program as a counselor. Through this program, I have helped students succeed by providing encouragement and support for their homework and by teaching and reviewing concepts that they found challenging. Additionally, I've developed the patience and communication skills that are necessary to motivate and guide students.

I love the tutoring process because it forces me to take another look at the ways in which we create and comprehend. Each time I tutor a student, we both learn something new.
