I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. After that, I went to work in cancer research, expanding my knowledge of biochemistry. I will be returning to school for a Master's Degree from Johns Hopkins University. My tutoring experience dates back to my undergraduate studies where I helped students in calculus, biology organic chemistry. I also have experience helping students with graduate and undergraduate school personal statements and applications, giving feedback when needed.
I am able to tutor in a vast array of subjects. My favorite subjects to tutor are biology and chemistry, with calculus and geometry second. I choose to tutor because I appreciate all that my education has given me. I was also given a lot of help while I made my way through school. I believe that I can make a difference in the lives of the students I tutor, just as my teachers did for me.
In my spare time, I like to play basketball, read and go hiking.
