David graduated from Amherst College with a BA in Mathematics, Philosophy, and Classics. He tutored his peers at college as well as students in the area for several years while pursuing his degree. He has a special fondness for the liberal arts, and enjoys the opportunity to speak with students interested in the virtues of a liberal arts education, whether studying humanities or STEM fields.
He scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT, and received top scores on SAT II and AP tests in Latin, US History, European History, and English Language. He is enthusiastic to work with students interested in the intersection of disparate subjects they have an appreciation for, and can talk about college preparation and decisions as well as test-taking strategies. When not working in education, he enjoys playing violin and piano (both badly), hiking, and cooking.
