Hello! am currently an undergraduate student in my third year at Northeastern University. I am Majoring in International Affairs and Political Science, an interdisciplinary field which includes history, political science, communications, and statistics courses among others. Outside of school I enjoy playing soccer, going to concerts, and reading.
I have experience in tutoring high school algebra and geometry, working one on one with students as well as explaining some of my strongest concepts to the whole class. I have also worked with kids in after school programs, such as the Boys and Girls Club, helping them with reading and math homework. Tutoring is an extremely rewarding experience, giving me the chance to pass on my love of learning to students and helping them to have a positive mindset for learning.
In college, I have taken quantitative techniques, which is a Stats course based in the Political Science school. Helping people feel confident in their math skills is what I aim to do as a math tutor.
My major, International Affairs and Political Science, makes me the perfect candidate to tutor in the area of Government and Politics. I have taken courses such as International relations, Globalization, and Intercultural Communication, and I am excited to pass on my knowledge in the field.
To maximize the effectiveness of my teaching, I welcome any and all feedback and am able to adapt my teaching based on the needs of the student. I will always respond quickly, so feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a tutoring session.
