I am committed to help you learn, and committed to making it fun!

As a youngster, I did not always love school. I was lucky enough to fall head over heels in love with knowledge, and the capacity/ability to learn in my college years.

Thus, As someone who appreciates and loves learning, but who didn't always, I understand the importance of meeting a student on his or her level. I will not force facts upon you, but try to illicit a students own desire for knowledge. I strive to see students fall in love with learning the same way I did. It is one of the best feelings in the world!

I was born and raised on the east coast, growing up in New Jersey, attending boarding school - Middlesex School - in Boston, and College in Connecticut. In college - I attended Wesleyan University - I found my passion for learning. My favorite class freshman year was a seminar on August Wilson's Pittsburgh Cycle.

Freshman year of college I fell in love with the theater, Shakespeare, film theory, environmental science, and African American History.

After four years at Wesleyan, having completed my general education requirements, I graduated on the deans list with a major in Film Studies. Next year I will begin attending USC where I was one of ten students accepted to their Masters in Fine Arts - Acting program.

When not in the classroom, film editing room, or the library, one could find me on the basketball courts or the soccer fields. I love sports so much, and incorporate them into learning and teaching as much as I can!

I am committed to helping your student become the best they can be, just as others helped me arrive to where I am today!
